ACT: Car driven through club
CANBERRA, Aug 9 AAP - A car smashed through the main doors of a Canberra club today
- before motoring through the building and out through a plate glass window.
The 4am incident startled the several patrons in the Canberra Labor Club, police said.
No-one inside the club was injured.
The driver of the car made off before being found about four hours later.
He was receiving medical attention before being questioned, a police spokesman said.
