CPF eyes pork exports to Japan.

May 4--KANCHANABURI -- CP-Yonekyu Co, a joint venture between Charoen Pokphand Foods Plc and the Yonekyu Corporation, plans to start exporting processed foods to the Japanese market in the third quarter of this year.

The venture, established with capital of 500 million baht, has been considered a win-win business cooperation between Thailand and Japan.

Under the partnership, CPF, the flagship of Thailand's agribusiness conglomerate CP Group, provides the meat, while Japan's Yonekyu provides the processing technology and marketing.
