WIRELESS CALLS RING IN THE FUTURE.(LIFE & LEISURE)

Because she has a sales job, plays on one soccer team and coaches another, Julie McNeill phones customers, teammates and her players' parents daily, but she tries not to call from home, where she'd rather give full attention to her husband and three children.

As McNeill drives from Naperville, Ill., where she lives and works, to Barrington, Ill., where she plays soccer, she's generally using her Sprint wireless phone.

``I try to move as many calls as possible away from home,'' McNeill said. ``When I have to use the phone at home, things get loud sometimes because my kids want my full attention.''

Likewise, Paula Gray also has shifted many calls to her wireless phone, making some from her car, but using her wireless Ameritech Corp. phone even in her downtown Chicago apartment, where her roommate often has their phone wire-line hooked up to the Internet.
