QLD:Flood threat over for Charleville
Flooding will continue in central Queensland today, with the Paroo River expected to
peak at Eulo, near Cunnamulla in southern inland Queensland, at about 4.4 metres.
And thunderstorms are expected to hit a large swathe of central and northern Queensland
from the Gulf Country and Georgetown in the north to Roma in the south.
The Bureau of Meteorology says very heavy rainfall up to 100 millimetres and flash
flooding is likely in some areas.
Towns that may be affected include Roma, Georgetown, St George, Hughenden, Richmond,
Julia Creek, Croydon, Bollon, Mitchell, Marathon, Pentland and Einasleigh.
