Fed: No need to scrap online visas: Anderson

SYDNEY, Jan 14 AAP - Acting prime minister John Anderson said today there was no need
to scrap Australia's online visa system.

His comment came after an Australian academic suggested the United States, Britain
and Singapore be dropped from the list of countries eligible for electronic visas, because
of the terrorist threat they posed.

The countries are three of Australia's largest sources of tourists.
